Crisp and cool weather, perfect for invigorating runs after work, has arrived in Southern Ontario.
Last week I banged out 3 fabulous and long runs, without the Nike+ because sometimes you just need to be.
It’s also squash season and I must confess… I cooked a squash…
… and I liked it!
When it comes to squash I’m usually more of a squash soup or ravioli kind of girl but this butternut, roasted in pumpkin pie spice , was a treat.
Squash and chickpeas, perfect for lunch at the office.
The new job is going really well, by the way! I love being challenged and each day has been flying by.
Red Holiday Cups and Caramel Brulee lattes are also back at Starbucks!
Happiness in a cup, indeed.
Lastly, if you’re in Toronto, you need to go see Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
It’s a fantastically entertaining two hours that will have you dancing in your seat and fighting not to sing along.
Plus, if you’re looking for workout motivation the cast is so ripped, especially Nick Adams who plays Adam/Felicia, that you’ll be skipping to the gym afterwards.
I’m already planning to go again!
