I just finished up my last week 1 running workout followed by some upper body weights, stretching and the C&K Workout, and I’m feeling great! Today’s run was pretty easy to complete and I’m trying to enjoy that while it lasts because I know it’s going to get tough very soon. I’ve showered and now I’m watching ‘So you think you can dance’ while I ice my shins and sip on some coconut water so why don’t we recap the good/bad from this week.
– I’ve been faithfully wearing my knee straps and they feel great! I hope that continues!
– Asthma has stayed in check so far without inhalers.
– I’m feeling proud of myself
– My shins, they’re bothering me quicker and more than I expected. I have a lot of scar tissue in my calves from skating but I think playing 2 baseball games in the rain added to the aggravation. I’m going to keep icing them and hopefully I can work through this!
Tomorrow’s Friday which means a short day at work and a long bike ride, I’m sooo looking forward to the weekend, it should be lots of fun. That’s all I’ve got tonight :)
